San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo is located in Balboa Park, and is a short shuttle ride and walk from where we are staying. They even have Pandas! If you want to learn more about the Zoo's offerings you can visit their website here.

Balboa Park

This park is about a 5 minute walk from where we are staying! It has so many things to offer! The San Diego Zoo is in this park. It also has almost 20 botanical gardens, including a Japanese Garden, a rose garden, an Australian garden, and an old cactus garden from 1935. This park also has things like the San Diego Air and Space Museum and the San Diego Museum of Art! For more information, you can visit their website here.

SeaWorld San Diego

SeaWorld San Diego is a 10 minute Uber ride from where we are staying. They have tons of aquatic life for us to see and rides to ride if you are feeling adventurous. There is also penguins and seals and sea lions! For more information, you can visit their website here.

Little Italy

Little Italy is only a 10 or 15 minute walk from where we are staying! There is more than a dozen restaurants and cafes to choose from here. Ask me about my Yelp Sandie Goooo collection! Gas Lamp Quarter

The Gas Lamp Quarter is at the heart of downtown San Diego. They have a plethora of bars and dining options, as well as comedy clubs and theatres. This could be fun to walk around in at night. For more information you can visit their website here.

Sea Lion Tour

This tour starts off in a tour bus that is also a boat! We would ride through the streets of San Diego on a guided tour, and then take the tour bus boat into the San Diego Bay! Apparently this area is home to the California Sea Lion so we would probably see a lot of them! For more information you can visit their website here.

Restaurants & Cafes

I spent some time looking at restaurants and cafes in our area to find some of the best dining options for us. Here is a list of some of the ones that I found. Take your time looking through the list and menus and let me know if there is any that you would prefer to try!

• Cloak and Petal - This is a Japanese food and Sushi place in Little Italy. I know >.< why Japanese food in Little Italy, but it honestly looks very good! Visit their website here to learn more.

• Barbusa - An Italian Restaurant in Little Italy, not the first, and not the last! Visit their website here to learn more.

• Civico 1845 - Another Italian Restaurant, but this one specializes in food from Calabria, Italy, which is where my family is from! Apparently the menu is entirely vegan though. Visit their website here to learn more!

• C Level - This is American cuisine. It looks like it has an amazing view though! Visit their website here for more information.

• Allegro - This is another Italian restaurant. I mean we are in Little Italy what do you expect? Visit their website here to learn more.

• Piedra Santa - Finally a Steak place! If we are feeling extra fancy we can go here for a good steak! It is a little on the pricey side BUT steak is soooo good. Visit their website here to see the menu.

• Top of the Market - This is a seafood place. It looks like it has amazing views of the San Diego beach and Pacific Ocean. The menu online does not have prices so that may mean its expensiiiive. Visit their website to here to give it a look.

• Caffe Italia - This is a cafe and coffee shop. They have some delicious looking food and it is very well priced! Look at their menu here!

• Mostra Coffee - This is another cafe. It looks amazing. They have a really long list of lattes if you feel like trying different lattes every day. This is only a 3-5 minute walk from where we are staying! Look at their menu here!
